“I commissioned Sophie, to paint a portrait of me as a wedding present for my husband – and it has honestly been the most special purchase of my life. I am insecure at the best of times, so the first part of the process (going to get pictures done of me) felt completely out of my comfort zone. She then collates the best photos and shares a really professional document with options of colours, styles, poses and compositions. She sketches up the ones she thinks work best. You discuss everything at length - never feeling rushed into decisions - and you’re guided completely. I found it quite emotional seeing the painting for the first time. It’s such an impactful, beautiful canvas. I feel like Sophie has captured me so perfectly, whilst also keeping me somewhat anonymous in a playful and sexy way. I am completely obsessed with it (does that make me a narcissist?!)
